Why do we use it?

As a part of our deep commitment to ethical breeding, we utilise the services of a company called SpaySecure to

help protect our puppy’s health by using binding contracts to ensure dog sterilisation at a healthy age. ​

This allows us to confidently send puppies home on sterilisation contracts, safeguarding our precious puppies

from the health risks of early-age desexing, or from staying entire which risks dangerous health problems and/or accidental, unwanted litters.

 This also allows us to protect and guide our bloodlines as we progress towards a healthy and robust pure breed,

where diversity of genetics is essential for the Theodores to thrive.

By adopting your puppy from us, you are making a choice to support ethical breeders that are safeguarding

the future of your pup, as well as the diversity of the gene pool for Theodores. Thank you!

How SpaySecure Works

1. We register you with SpaySecure (at no cost to you) and you get a contract via email.

2. You sign the contract, agreeing to take your puppy to a licensed veterinarian to have him/her surgically altered for spay or neuter, providing proof via the SpeySecure website before the sterilisation deadline, and take your pet home.

3. We send you reminders of your pet's sterilization deadline. You schedule an appointment with your local veterinarian for a canine or feline sterilization surgery.

4. When the time comes, you take your pet to the vet, have them fill out the proof confirmation form, and send it to SpaySecure along with the procedure's invoice and any other supporting documents from your vet. Please send all proof documentation directly to SpaySecure.
